GLOWFORGE BASICS: catchall TRAY with custom engraving

Participants will choose a graphic, pattern, or text and use the Glowforge to engrave it onto a pre-made wooden tray. We’ll cover file setup, design considerations for engraving, material settings, and how to achieve clean results. After engraving, you’ll finish your piece by applying wood stain to enhance contrast and bring out the details of your design.

This beginner-friendly class focuses on practical skills you can apply to future projects, with an emphasis on thoughtful design and hands-on finishing techniques. You’ll leave with a completed engraved catchall and a deeper understanding of how laser tools can enhance everyday objects.

All materials are provided. No prior Glowforge experience required.
