OPEN MIC MUSIC NIGHT

The Guardian’s Open Mic Music Nights with Ryan Johnson as host and featured performer. Musicians, singer-songwriters, and other performers are invited to sign up for a 20-minute slot and share their work with a live audience.

A backline will be provided, including drums, bass amp, guitar amp, DJ drops, and vocal mics. Electric guitarists are welcome to bring their own amps if preferred. Enjoy Charlie Monday specials, including a $7 pepperoni pizza, and help support local artists.

Come out for great music, good food, and a night celebrating local talent. Sign ups start at 6:00 pm, music starts at 7:00

This workshop is for the sewing students who have completed 2 or more basic sewing classes.

Students will how to applique to shirts, adding decorations made of other shirts or scrap fabrics. In this workshop participants will get practice and build their confidence in their sewing abilities. They may bring their own machines if they prefer.

Participants must bring their own shirt and on which to applique; scrap fabrics are provided, but participants may bring their own fabrics to play with as well.
