Clean Space

The Design Lab at MadJax is a collaborative space equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, and electronics tools—ideal for prototyping, creative problem-solving, and community-focused projects.

Shipyard

Dirty Lab

The Shipyard at MadJax is a large-scale fabrication space for woodworking, metalworking, and prototyping - built for makers, artists, and entrepreneurs ready to bring bold ideas to life.

Located on the second floor of MadJax, the Art Studios on 2 offer flexible, affordable studio space for makers at all levels - and are available as an add-on to your MadJax membership or on a short-term basis for non-members.

Learn & Practice

  • Weekly Training Sessions

    You can participate in weekly training sessions for specific pieces of equipment. These classes will rotate regularly based on interest or demand. Each class size is limited to ensure that you receive the attention and time on equipment you'll need to confidently use it on your own.

  • One-on-One Guidance

    Need a little more guidance? Schedule a one-on-one training session. One-on-one training is available at no additional cost, but must be scheduled with our staff ahead of time.

  • Project Support

    From time to time you may want to make something using equipment you haven't been certified on yet or just need more assistance than our one-on-one sessions allow. That's why we offer dedicated project support.
