Meet your instructor: MELISSA DAVIS, FOUNDER OF THE CRAFTY BEE
Melissa Davis is founder and owner of The Crafty Bee. She’s had a lifelong passion for crafting, starting as a youngster with cross-stitch, embroidery, crochet, and ceramic painting. A resident of Muncie for over 14 years, Melissa raised her two daughters here and continues to explore and enjoy new crafting genres.
Melissa launched The Crafty Bee in 2023—naming the business after the Greek translation of "Melissa," which means honeybee—focusing on original design polymer clay jewelry. She is constantly expanding her techniques to create unique, one-of-a-kind pieces. For Melissa, the most fulfilling part of working with polymer clay is seeing these original designs come to life.
