Stained Glass Workshop | Satudays, August 2, 16, and 30 | 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
This three-part, members-only workshop is designed to train participants in the full process of creating stained glass artwork, with the goal of preparing them to work independently on future projects. Led by professional stained glass artist Erica Markley, participants will learn essential techniques like cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, and finishing their own pieces.
Members will work to create a landscape by tracing their patterns; scoring, breaking, and grinding their glass pieces; then foiling, burnishing, soldering, cleaning, patinaing, and waxing their completed artwork. They will work with a more challenging pattern and new materials, like zinc came.

Meet your instructor: Erica Markley
Erica Markley is a self taught stained glass artist. She took her first class in 2013. She has been a full time glass artist for 4 years now. When she's not doing glass art, she is renovating a 160 year old farmhouse and taking care of her animals and gardens.
