Discover the vibrant, playful world of gelli printing in this hands-on beginner class at MadJax. During this two-hour workshop, you’ll learn core techniques through live demonstration and explore how to build layered prints using color, texture, and pattern. Then you’ll jump in and put your new skills to work by designing and printing custom notebook covers, turning everyday materials into one-of-a-kind creations. No experience required. Just bring your curiosity, get a little messy, and leave with handmade pieces that are uniquely yours.
Open to ages 6–106. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a paying parent or guardian.

Meet your instructor: MOLLY SCHALLER
Molly Schaller has been a designer and teacher for more than 20 years in various art and crafts and strives to bring structure and soul to everything she touches. She loves to knit, make jewelry and fanciful headpieces, and spend time outdoors. One of her favorite questions is: How can we create experiences that spark joy, connection, and deeper understanding? She's endlessly fascinated by the ways we develop relationships—with objects, each other, and the communities we build together and loves to explore different mediums with artists of all ages.
