TOOLSONG Gallery Opening: Untied: On Process, Drift, and Letting Go
MadJax Maker Force celebrates the opening of TOOLSONG Gallery, a new art exhibition space inside its downtown Muncie facility, with an inaugural exhibition and public opening night. TOOLSONG Gallery transforms a former transformer shaft within the historic MadJax building into a light-filled, contemporary gallery dedicated to experimentation, process, and creative making.
The opening exhibition, Untied: On Process, Drift, and Letting Go by Kevin R. Klinger, features abstract oil paintings on Masonite that explore instinct, momentum, and decision-making in the creative process. The works emphasize commitment over over-refinement and embrace immediacy, drift, and trust in the act of making.
Opening night takes place during Third Thursday, when MadJax Maker Force partners with the Muncie Makers Market to host an indoor night market throughout the building. Visitors are invited to explore the new gallery while also enjoying local makers, food and drinks, live music, and other Third Thursday activities happening simultaneously at MadJax.

Following the opening, the exhibition will remain on view during MadJax’s public hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
