TOOLSONG GALLERY OPENING: ARRANGEMENTS BY ELLEN LEIGH
- Madjax Maker Force 515 East Main Street Muncie, IN, 47305 United States (map)
TOOLSONG Gallery: Ellen Leigh
MadJax Maker Force presents Arrangements, a new exhibition in TOOLSONG Gallery featuring work by artist Ellen Leigh.
Through Arrangements, Leigh releases familiar domestic and decorative objects from their everyday functions and reimagines them as sculptural works. By deconstructing and reassembling mass-produced objects, she creates dream-like assemblages that feel familiar in their materials yet unexpected in their transformation.
Leigh’s work uses the language of the domestic and decorative to explore feminine narratives and the ways objects, like people, are shaped by their interactions with others. Each piece carries traces of meaning, history, and relationships—some immediately visible and others more subtly felt.
Opening Night: Thursday, September 3, 2026
Time: 5:00–8:00 p.m.
Location: TOOLSONG Gallery at MadJax Maker Force
Admission: Free and open to the public
Following the opening, the exhibition will remain on view during MadJax’s public hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
