TOOLSONG Gallery: Deb Dragoo
MadJax Maker Force presents a new exhibition in TOOLSONG Gallery featuring work by Muncie-based artist, curator, and arts advocate Debra Gindhart Dragoo. A longtime First Thursday fixture in downtown Muncie, Gindhart brings more than twenty-five years of experience as a painter, jewelry designer, public artist, educator, and community arts leader.
Inspired by aerosol artists such as Banksy and Mr. Brainwash, Gindhart discovered spray paint as a creative medium fifteen years ago and has since developed a distinctive body of work rooted in social commentary, collage, and assemblage. Her aerosol paintings layer image, texture, and message to explore contemporary issues through a bold and expressive visual language.
This exhibition invites viewers into a colorful and thought-provoking collection of works that reflect Gindhart’s long-standing commitment to creativity, community, and dialogue. Shown locally and in Indianapolis, with works collected nationally and internationally, her art encourages viewers to pause, reflect, and engage with the stories embedded within each piece.

Following the opening, the exhibition will remain on view during MadJax’s public hours, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
