Learn how to turn simple lumber into stylish, sturdy floating shelves in this hands-on woodworking workshop. Participants will learn the basic techniques and tools needed to build their own set of two small wooden floating shelves.
This workshop is open to participants ages 18+ and to all skill levels. Basic woodworking and tool knowledge is helpful, but not required. Participants will leave with two finished floating shelves ready to mount at home.

Meet your instructor: Samuel Lujajohnson
Samuel Lujajohnson, a family man from southern Indiana, has always had a love for woodworking. His father, a lifelong mechanic, instilled the foundations of using tools and working with his hands from an early age. Sam always enjoyed building things, and had a dedicated workshop by the time he was 12. Mostly self-taught in his adult life, he has continued to learn from other experts through local classes or online videos. Samuel is the co-founder of the custom furniture and fine art company, Oak and Ember Design LLC; partnered with his sister Maranda. With a love for teaching, and all things wood & art, Sam will look forward to leading you through your next project.
