Key Funders:
Ball Brothers Foundation — Support from the Ball Brothers Foundation has led the way for maker education in the Madjax building including support for Maker in Residence led workshops and development of the Design Lab. Operational support has helped us increase staffing capacity, develop new spaces for public use, and expanded programming including First Thursday pop-up workshops, Fall Festival, career exploration field trips, and more.
The Community Foundation — A project grant from The Community Foundation of Muncie & Delaware County has supported development of accessible space for a Learning Lab that will be used as a maker classroom.
City of Muncie ARP & U.S. Economic Development Administration — Funds awarded to Madjax by the City of Muncie American Rescue Plan Nonprofit Grant and to Purdue Polytechnic by the U.S. Economic Development Alliance STEM Pipeline Development Award have supported the second cohort of the Educator in Residence Fellowship. Workshops including Flight & the Design Process, The Tube Life: Summer of Content Creation, Introduction to Vinyl, Bots & Beyond, and DIY Family Game Day have been led by professional K–12 educators.
