Take a java journey with professional educator and former barista trainer Pat McCory for a multi-sensory exploration of history, geography, and culinary processes of coffee. Participants will learn the basics of home roasting coffee and explore a variety of grinding and brewing techniques. You will leave ready to take the next step in your coffee roasting and brewing journey at home.

Participants may also choose to add on a custom mug making experience in the Madjax Design Lab directly following the coffee exploration workshop. You may select from a handful of pre-made designs or create your own custom artwork.

• Cost: $15 workshop or $20 workshop + mug
   

This workshop is recommended for ages 16 and over and is led by Maker in Residence Pat McCrory.

All of our workshops and classes are led by professional makers, artists, entrepreneurs, educators and community partners. We strive to provide high-quality and unique learning experiences. Registration will close up to 72 hours prior to the start of the event to provide time for instructors to prepare.
