Children who practice reading have greater success in school, and children who feel successful read at a higher level. Practice reading and writing skills in this hands-on family workshop series. Activities will feature an introduction to book binding, creating an original story book with puppy pen pals, and reading time with real dogs!
Dates and times: Monday & Wednesday evenings, June 13, 15, 20, 22, 27; 5:30 -7:00pm at Madjax Firefly Event and Learning Center
Recommended ages: Incoming 2nd - 5th grade students with a parent/guardian/mentor
Limit of 12 families
Cost: $20 per family (includes all activity supplies, snacks, and goodie bag of books and prizes)
